i think Crocrop would use his superior ring generalship and slowly pick vera apart from the outside...but still vera seems to have tremendous KO power

He's talented as all fuck, but I wouldnt EXPECT him to do anything but get knocked out against an elite striker. Size isnt in his favor either, esp against Silvia. Now, I wouldnt be too surprised if he won, as he is super talented, but I think you may be making him out to be a accomplished than what he is. The Frank Mir fight meant nothing. Frank has fought scared in his last couple of fights, and in my opinion is about as heartless as fighters can get. He wasnt gonna stand in there with someone as skilled as Vera who was just slinging em.

I'm a big time Vera fan, I think the kid has worlds of talent and is charismatic, but to think that he deserves to be given much of a chance against the elite is just being too generous. Does that mean I dont think he should get a shot, hell no, give him his title shot, and then he can realize that he should go down to 205 where he belongs. That or he shocks some folks and gives the UFC heavyweight division a shot in the arm
