It was a monumental weekend in Columbus, Ohio, highlighted by the triumphant return of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Hall of Famer Randy "The Natural" Couture. UFC 68: The Uprising,which took place on March 3<SUP>rd,</SUP> shattered the North American MMA attendance record (19,049) and garnering the highest gate (over $3 mill.) in Nationwide Arena history.
But the historic UFC card was just one of three significant events taking place in Columbus over the weekend. The 19<SUP>th</SUP> Annual Arnold Classic Bodybuilding Competition and Expo were featured at the Greater Columbus Convention Center for three days.
