Can the guido run around the ring and avoid Mayweather, or does the Black Mamba punish him?

I dont think it'd be much of a beating. More likely Paulie runs, Roger chases, Roger lands a few right hands, Paulie goes to sleep.

I doubt Mayweather stops Malignaggi. Roger wasn't a world class banger @ that weight and there's nothing in Paulie's history that would lead you to assume he's chinny. The punishment he took from Cotto would be twice what he'd see coming from Mayweather, who did plenty of running and hiding himself.
Mayweather via a close decision.

he ran from punchers, perhaps, but feather fists? I don't know about that

He did it all the time. His style was as a back-foot counter puncher, and more often than not he'd wait you out. I mean, jesus he was even cautious and frightened of Pernell Whitaker.
I'm simply saying that while everyone is going to jump up and down saying Malignaggi is a bitch, cant punch...blah blah blah..whatever; Mayweather was hardly the poster boy for balls and brawn. Paulie is quicker of hand as well...its not a fight that Mayweather wins with any comfort, IMO.

that's because Pernell is greatest of all time. he also nearly KOed roger in the first round and gave him a beatdown throughout.

Cept the part where he was out cold on the canvas, from a single Mayweather "bomb"

you always overrate that part:lol:
You'd thin it was Jackson/Graham or Holmes/Shavers the way you talk about it
regardless, Mayweather was always a great right hand puncher. He could crack something fierce with that hand.

Anyone who thinks Pernell Whitaker is the greatest fighter in any category except stink and running should be executed. Pernell Whitaker is so great his best win is a draw with Chavez. The cult of Pernell is the biggest joke in all of boxing.
