I don't have a problem with Floyd getting the nod, I thought the fight was close and depending on what you like, could go either way.
If you like the aggresive fighter who landed the harder shots, you go with DLH.
If you like sharper but lighter, more shots, you go with Floyd.
Either case, a p4p #1 fighter should not have a close fight or should he have his hardest test with a semi retired past his prime fighter who hadn't fought in a year.
I picked DLH, because I don't like Floyd, but I tell it like it is and will take my crow.
Manny Pac has proven more, risked more, and dominated better fighters than Floyd, thus Floyd goes to #2 and Manny goes to #1.

Floyds still at the top. More skilled, more weight classes and more longevity.

Manny Pac lost to Morales and Drew with Marquez.
Floyd is undefeated.

I think there is a good argument for putting Pacquiao at #1, but I'd only do it if Pacquiao beat Marquez or Guzman this year, or if Floyd officially retired.
But as long as Floyd is around, I still have to give Floyd the #1 spot.

Beating De La Hoya at 154 (when you started your career at 130), whether it was close or not, is still a better achievement that anything in Pac's career and I'm a huge Pacman fan.

Beating Gatti doesn't mean you clear out 140, beating Baldomir doesn't mean you clear out 147 either,.. '5 division champ!!' is an absolute crock of horseshit,... '5 division belt holder!!' is what it really is..

He landed the more power shots on PBF. What about the punch that staggered DLH. And you know what DLH is still light years better than MAB, JMM, and Morales. Not to mention PBF was giving up hella size difference. Yeah I gotta agree those tears from the Houston game fucked your vision up. I'll Holla 5000

No I don't necessarily agree with that because Pacquiao started off at 105 and destroyed Barrera at 126 who was P4P #3 in the world at the time. I just think Floyd's win over Dela Hoya just reaffirms what I've always thought, that he is the best fighter on the planet P4P since Roy Jones became a non-factor. It's not a big achievement at all because Dela Hoya is a bit past it, and although Floyd won convincingly, it wasn't scintillating like Pac's wins over Morales and Barrera.
I agree there is a case to be made that Pac should be rated over Floyd, but I'm not fully behind it at all even with me being a devoted Pacquiao fan.

I have to admit, Yao played like a twat in the playoffs, I'm fed up, angy, and I'm willing to trade Yao for a 3rd draft pick.

Although Hatton beat the consensus best fighter at 140, the most qualified and undisputed at the time, he didn't quite clear the division out, sure I would say Hatton was 'the linear champ at 140', but he didn't fight and defeat Cotto who was the final consensus qualification to 'clearing the division out', had he done so before moving up briefly, I would add 'the division' to his resume. At 147 he was a mere paper-belt holder,.. if at 147 he beat Margarito, then unified against Cintron, then defended his title against Mosely, then Clottey..... he more or less conquers two divisions. Beating Baldomir and Gatti is fucking nothing when there's scores of stronger formidable fighters being left behind,..Even 'div champ' is hollow by comparison to conquering a division,...'belt holder' is even MORE hollow...it's nothing special...with 4 belts per division..a bum can hold a title these days...:nono:
