Since the first fight with Shane at the staples center, I think it's fair to say that Oscar has slowed a fair bit.

He still has decent handspeed, timing, and combos. But damn his footspeed and balance is terrible now, and he can't pull the trigger like he used to. Despite blasting mayorga out of there, I still noticed this in the mayo fight.

Now at the time and on subsequent viewings I scored that first Mosley fight 8 to 4 for shane. I think shane beat him DECISIVELY. He outboxed him, outmanoeuvered him, outpunched him, and rattled him a few times, and was aggressive enough too. After an even first 6 rounds mosley just stepped it up and whupped oscar.

Floyd couldn't do that with an old, slow oscar. The pre forrest mosley had a greater claim to be the pound for pound champ than floyd does.

That version of mosley would have beaten the shit out of floyd, shit I would even give mosley a good chance NOW to beat floyd.

I believe pacman to be the best pound for pound. He lost to Morales? Sure he did, but morales is great, and fought excellently that night. And he beat marquez, the draw was bullshit. Better to lose to Morales than Castillo in the first fight.

And when it came to the rematch and rubber match, look what happened. Those are what you call decisive victories, not this safety first pot shotting bullshit, one punch at a time.

If pacman was bigger and started his career as a 130 pounder like floyd, rather than a flyweight, and they met at welterweight - I'd pick pacman to beat the fuck out of floyd.

Pacman is the best P4P, then Winky, then Floyd.

If floyd was the best P4P, quite simply, he would have done a fuck load better than he just did against a slow, 34 year old oscar. That would be like pacman only doing this well against el terrible in the 3rd fight.

There's a good case for Pac at #1. It's just the way he beats top level competition, he destroys them and leaves no question. Most of my favorite fighters are guys who chase the knockout (Trinidad, Pacquiao, etc). No controversy, no fouled up score cards, nothing, just one guy laying on his back and another guy raising his arm. That's how it should be.

Hardly, Marquez lost by a minimum of 5 points. He lost 4 or 5 rounds and lost 10-6 in the first. Marquez got a gift.

A lesson? Hardly!

It was competitive the rest of the way, you Pac haters swear he lost 11 rounds. I gave 6 rounds TOTAL to Fagquez and 6 to Pac. Yeah it should've been a draw if Fagquez didn't sit down on the canvas 3 times. Fagquez could've settled this controvery easily if he wanted but the little bitch took $30,000 in one of the dumbest business moves in boxing history to go to Indonesia to get schooled.

I do agree with the purpose of this thread I was actually thinking about how much better MOsley did against Oscar than Floyd. No to mention he didn't do all the shit talking Floyd did.

Floyd fought the oldest version of Oscar anybody has faced and Floyd is in his fucking prime. Everyone knew the guy can slap his way to a victory. But this type of stage was suposed to make the guy step up and take a fucking chance.

When you talk about great fighters like Leonard and Robinson they did more than "just enough" I honestly thought Floyd would do more and he didn't. It was a nice win but even the average fan has seen Oscar lose a couple of times. Floyd didn't make a statement last night the way he beat him. :nono:

That knockdown on Fagquez wasn't lucky, this is the thing with you, when Fagquez gets caught cold after rushing in, it's called luck. Boooo shit. He caught Fagquez after that pendeja got horny for Barrera and dropped his hands. Then when he was on all fours, he was begging Barrera to take him. I heard Marquez say "¡tómeme el Marco!!!!"

Then Barrera got pissed and clocked him. Lucky Nady doesn't understand spanish! :nono:

the fuck he did. Esquer threw a lot, but landed very little. I thought Iron Boy did a damn good job of making Esquer look foolish for most of the fight.
