Not as bad as the guys above, but from 2004-on, Bernard Hopkins has been pretty damn boring.

I did enjoy watching him humiliate Tarver though.

I've only seen a couple fights with Raheem, so I'm not sure exactly how high on the list he should be. But it takes quite a stinker to be involved in a boring Erik Morales fight.

I bet he could even make Manny Pacquiao boring.

I saw him in the amies. I remembered him because of his stink style even then. He won by a landslide and people were looking at their watches. It must have been 10 years ago. My god, I wish I had liquidated him WHEN I HAD THE CHANCE.

If you gave Cruz a scored clean shot point for everytime Raheem initiates a hold, he'd be up 4 rounds to nothing. Raheem is the worst.

Agreed. He was holding 80% of each round.

He should never be on tv again although I have said that for years. The guy is terrible and a cheat. He wins fights by totally stinking it out and slapping some shots at his demoralized opponent. The referee should be fined. After the 3rd round, I would have taken a point for each hold and by rounds 6 he would have been dq'd.

Great. Now at some point we'll have to see the stink again on TV

Mainstream fans simply want to see the best boxers go at each other. So-called "hardcore" fans are whiny little bitches who complain about the fights being boring since the guys actually block the punches with something other than their heads. When you watch the best a sport has to offer: the Superbowl, the World Series, the World Cup, the Olympics or a boxing pay-per-view, it's usually boring. You'll almost never see a Corrales-Castillo ending in a major championship. No one has come behind from a 25-point deficit in the fourth quarter of the Superbowl. No ninth inning of the seventh game of the World Series ends with a 10-run, ninth-inning blowout, ending with a one-point win.

I figured he was the inspiration for this thread. I almost forgot how bad he was before tonights fight. He wonders why nobody pays any attention to him? :dunno:

Even the announcers who were doing their best to kiss his ass threw in a comment after the fight. "Allen Green looks better just standing in the ring with his sunglasses on, then Zahir Raheems fight looked tonight"

Well, we go way back. I hate to see him go, but basically unless you agree with everything I say, you are genetically inferior and therefore need to be liquidated. It makes me sad sometimes. With you, it would be a three day weekend. I would make in nice, slow and acid filled.
I saw Zahir well over a decade ago come to think of it, mid 1990's.It was awhile ago and I still remember the total silence of the crowd. I could identify with the crowd tonight. I have been there.

Yes, and several people have seen me at live events. I have been to several amateur shows. Usually, it is just the people's friends and family cheering. It wasn't a four rounder, you dumb queer. It was the amies.

:nono: Uh, uh uh uh, it's a shapely theraputic practice, with an observational fishnet analogy, the more marbles you flick, the bolder transformation of my bull-sack, for I am collectively leeching the shroudles and sids of your gamely quips, and incorperating them sporadically with a prickly lick up the neck of this messageboard, you seek Wikipedia or conventional equivalents, and I simply welcome the conveyancy, a bit of carrier-pigeon pan-flute, a vunerable harmony disguised as rhythmic guess work, and I should summon your swoop of plagiaristic shreiking like that of the gryphon that clutched Moses basket of scrolls and left him for dead with strings of his genitals torn up the sand mounds. Now I know I've got things you need, and you have things that I need, I dont make a fuss while your helping yourself, because you have respectfully left my own nectre sipping pipeline with a dew-drop edge, installed, without a pinch or a kink, perhaps you didn't notice, but for this there is a succulent 4-bit angry-face "mr squiggle" left for you on the surface of my camel-pack, take this wide opening as a tong of appreciation, and an authentic certificate of continued cooperation :crafty: .

Stinkers:

K-9 - Horrible stinker of a fighter

Byrd - his exciting fights are the exception. Check out his fight with Williamson to see him stink at his best. Total stinker.

Raheem - terrible stinker. wouldn't trade with an opponent if his life depended on it.
