I could understand this post after Judah II, but Spinks didn't ran tonight, he boxed from the outside, as usual, it's just that Taylor didn't press the action so it was a stinker.

Taylor should be ashamed, yes, but don't forget that Zab is a southpaw and Spinks is used to fighting "righties" and avoiding shots from that stance. It could be that the southpaw style is his achilles heel....

Taylor deserves more of the blame than Spinks does. Cory wasnt given a chance in hell, yet he gave Taylor hell. I had it a draw, but i could see 7-5 for Taylor. But the bottom line was Cory's "stinking" was a big problem for Taylor, and proved that Jermain is ass!

Yes, it is. I understand the disdain for JT as far s his fighting ability goes, but Stinks is the lowliest, the stinkiest, the bottom of the barrel. I would root for a Pol Pot over Stinks. LOL, Cory didn't run. It takes all I have not to go on a smacktalking rampage because I take my retirement seriously. He made sure that he always stayed outside of striking distance for 50 seconds at a time he'd run in, slap, land a left to arms of JT and run again.

Feel sort of bad for Taylor. His mgmt is so protective of him, and gives him such hand-picked opposition, that it's almost impossible to root for him, even though he's very likable.

I agree that Taylor was fighting a DUMB DUMB DUMB fight. Manny steward was doing a terrible job in the corner also. I'm no hall of fame trainer...but even I knew that Taylor needed to concentrate on Spinks' midsection and leave the head hunting for later.

However, Taylor was the only one landing anything significant from the 3rd round on. Spinks was basically just hitting Taylor's gloves with weak punches and then moving. He wasn't trying to win.

However the dumbest thing of all, was making that fight in the first place. Anyone, with an IOTA of boxing sense, should know that you don't put your fighter anywhere near a Cory Spinks...as it's a no win situation and the chances are that he'll make you look bad. How come Taylor's management didn't know this?
