8-6-85 my birthday weekend. My Dad took me to watch my favorite fighter, John "The Beast" Mugabi fight Bill Bradley. It was awesome, I was 10, and got my picture taken with The Beast. He was a really nice guy, not sure how my old man got me back there after the fight, but he was the man:bears:
2-13-99 DLH beats Ike and my wife goes into labor with my son:cheer:
Ali-Foreman took place on Oct. 30, which is my older daughter's birthday (though she was born 23 years later).
Her communion was May 7, 2005, same night as Corrales-Castillo I
Feb 6, 1993 - Riddick Bowe knocked out Michael Dokes at MSG; also the last time I ever smoked weed.
June 2, 2006 - My 35th Birthday, and also the day that Corrales-Castillo III was officially cancelled after Castillo once again fails to make weight.
July 18, 1998 - exactly one year before my younger daughter was born, Roy Jones Jr. suffers the first official knockdown of his career, against Lou del Valle.
October 4, 1998 - According to a sonogram, the date my wife and I conceived our younger daughter, also the same night Floyd Mayweather beat Genaro Hernandez for his first world title.

I had sex with a young stripper after watching that fight. It was great. Watched the fight, picked her up, she blew me on the way on 405 North and I gave her a fierce thrashing with my 2 inches of Axis steel.

I must be a waste of space. Everyone else is saying stuff, my daughter was born, I spent an evening with my loved one...not me. She did have very gigantic breasts. It was a good day, nontheless and right after the fight, although I thought Quartey got robbed.

Well she was somebody's daughter and her father might have watched a significant fight when she was born, so it isn't that superficial. She had a fun night.

I was doing way too many drugs when Pacquiao beat Morales in their rematch and was depressed as hell. I didn't watch it, I just followed the r-b-r here and felt slightly less depressed.

I actually collapsed from Vodka, Vicodin and Valium cocktail during that same fight. I had a ppv party at my apartment andwas out cold by round 5. I woke up in a sea of vomit and my neighbor came by every 10 mintues to make sure I wasn't a corpse.

Valium never really did anything for me.
Vicodin makes most people tired but that stuff was like caffeine for me.

Me too. I would just sit and watch movies all night. I used to take it in the mornings before school. Everyone that I was a morning person because I was so friendly and I was a grumpy fuck the rest of the day.

The year was 1982. One of the most memorable years of boxing for me. Bobby Chacon defeated Salvador Ugalde and wept for his wife after the fight.
Ray Mancini defeated Deuk Koo Kim, which we all know what happened to Kim later.
I don't remember the exact dates, but I remember exactly where I was for both fights. Some fights stay with you like that:popcorn:

Kid Gavilan gave his career best performance against Billy Graham in front of 40,000 fans in Havana on the day I was born. Funny enough, the fight had been scheduled on the day before, but rain delayed it.
I got married on November 18th of last year, the same day as Barrera\Morales 3, Hughes\GSP 2, Alabama\Auburn and Ohio State\Michigan.
Suffice to say, I didn't get to see any of them.
