Obviously,it Depends on WHO Matches Up w/WHO...
The ONLY Guy w/Any Chance of BEATING Floyd is Sugar Shane...REED Can't C Margarito Beating ANY of the Participants...& Shane-Cotto is a Toss Up....

Margarito would beat Mosley at 147. Floyd doesn´t participate, since he doesn´t fight big Castillos, sorry I mean unskilled fighters like Cotto or Margarito.

An easy victory for Floyd here.....He'd make Margarito quit around 10-th or 11-th round, then bust up Cotto, and finally stop Mosley around the 6-th round.

Castillo won 14 of 24 rounds against Fraud,..and STILL on aggregate, the lightweight champion of the world. My favourite was round 7,...where Fraud was on his way DOWN,..he SEIZED UP as stiff as a robot,...and held on for deeeeaaaaar life as that bell rang...beautiful, It was lovely, I might make a .gif out of it and wear it as an avatar,..:crafty:

:crafty: This thread is just a groupie celebration, with the banquet being scrumptious servings of Margarito hatred. 'B.Y.O'
:nono: I'd have Mosely winning a close decision over Margarito in the final by the way.

Every one of those guys could give Mayweather a good test, but i'd be betting on Floyd in each one.

i picked Margarito. i think he throws too many punches and is too strong for PBF or Mosley. and Cotto I think Margarito beats from the outside.

Whose cut did Paul not make?
And what are "Whoses'" qualifications to judge these welterweights?

Yeah to my recollection Mosley has never fought a prototype tough Mexican styled fighter. That is a hard one to call!
I think Floyd would win the tourney. I still think Margarito is similar to Baldimore in many respects and that Shane is tough for Floyd but beatable. At the end of the day Shane is in the Judah mold.... fast and naturally gifted but of a one track mind. He cannot change up, adjust, or counter a guy as a good as Floyd. Floyd can counter and adjust to Shane.

That would be an interesting development that would spice the division up a bit. I have never seen Williams fight so I can't render an opinion. But I do think Margarito, though tough, is very beatable.

Depends on the referee's instructions in the dressing rooms, if finally a competant referee comes in and warns,.. "Now Floyd, If under any circumstances you turn your back, use your palms and elbows, or run, it's an immediate disqualification without warning". :crafty: he'll have to pull out, citing that they're not worthy. "Who day beat?..I outslugged a prime De La Hoya, Im da p4p champ, what's Shane Mosely eva dun, he can't even beat his wife"
