I wish you all the best Brother!

I think you can tell a little difference but it is somewhat hard to tell on Pad work alone.. so much depends on the guy feeding it and since it was just his hands in the first clip, it actually looks faster maybe..

anyway.. keep it up! Dont worry about the haters.. I'm rootin for you!:cheer:

It seems to me that in the second clip your shoulder and head movements are not robotic, more natural, fluid and relaxed compared to the first clip.

In both clips you seem to have good spinal alignment and your head is right over your trunk (harder to accomplish than many people think judging from tapes of how I look in the past:lol:) but in the first clip you seem to be disjointed... only punching out with the arms. In this first clip your shoulders seem stiff and your head is also immovable, meaning that it is an easy target for a counterpunch.

So I would say that I see progress in your ability to let your shoulders relax enough to generate power from your body in your punches. Also in your head movements which though subtle, move more independently and less stiffly as you position with the punches.

The head movement would be important to me because it allows somoene from a martial arts perspective to move off line on opponent's punch (avoidance) and simultaneously into the person with his/her own punch(s).

Good for this guy because he wants to try, but he is going nowhere. I also think we have too many pro fighters posting here and I think it is a bad trend. Athletes are boring and speak in lame cliches. There is nothing more painful than hearing a pro athlete speak with very few exceptions. I think Team Tucker should think McDonalds because he has a better future there.

Agree.

He has no chance at all. He already got a draw on the club circuit. Being a good amateur means you are a good amateur. He has already proven he can't beat club fighters as a pro. Honestly, he is a slob. I haven't run for months and I am not as fat as he is. He has got some nerve saying people should invest in him. He is trying to rob people. He is going nowhere and if he had a team around him that cared they'd tell him to get a day job.

Shit, I would pick Charlie Zellenof over him by knockout.

About 4 months ago I was at the academy and Ralph was going around rolling with people in the no-gi class. Everytime he'd get near me and my rolling partner, I'd pretend I needed to use the bathroom. I wasn't pussing out or anything, but because Ralph is kind of aggressive and stocky, I usually get owned a lot quicker than most of the other blue-purple belts. I'm more of a patient tactician but I get a little flusttered by people who are super aggressive on the mat (i.e - wrestlers).

Anyway I come back too soon and Ralph is just getting done with my partner, and he sees me and he's like "You ready?" So I'm like, oh shit, I'll take my armbar like a man.

We start rolling around from the knees and he gets me on the mat, and goes immediately to side control. Then he goes knee to belly. Suprisingly, he tries to step over with the "far" leg to step over for the armbar and I hip out escape and grab the leg and go for a toe hold. Then he jumps out of it to standing position and says "good good" then goes on to the next pair. It was probably only the second time I didn't get submitted by him when we rolled.

I don't think anyone is too old, it just depends on your general health. We have this 60 year old biker guy who trains with us and he seems to hold his own.

The best example of this is when I was in Judo. I studied it at Berkeley after class at the Recreational Facility. It was lead by Cho In Chul, an Olympic Medalist in Judo from Korea. Anyway, this 8th Degree black belt from Korea comes in one day to lead the class, he was one of Cho's teachers back in Korea. I swear this guy was about 75-80 years old. So when Randori time comes along, no one expects him to throw down with us "young, strong, college kids", but he takes off his watch and steps into the lineup. During Randori, and Newaza, he was literally choking 200 pound, cut up, brown belts until they tapped, they had red faces and everything.

I never underestimate older guys, they have some sneaky chokes and techniques. :nono:

I can throw out my back for weeks by making sudden movements so I stopped sparring and just worked mitts and hit the 200 pound bag for a couple hours. Working out is the fountain of youth.

You are super silly buddy!! I cant beat club fighters, I beat up champions of the world...I'm a slob...hahahaha!! and just how fat do you think I am?
I have lost around 20-25 lbs already baby, just a few more to go!! The weight is coming off so fast because of my extreme diet and extreme work ethics day in and day out!!!

Ok my bad, yea I beat him 23-4 in the finals of the Eastern Olympic Trials in Atlantic City back in 1996, he was fighting out of the Bronx, NY and he was trying to make our Olympic Team, I ended up being the Olympic alternate in Atlanta that year.

Hey Tucker what are your thoughts on Cotto/Judah?
I think Zab will knock him out, somewhere after 4 rounds!! Cotto doesnt have the best chin, neither does zab, but zabs chin is stronger than Cotto's, with two strong power punchers somebody got to go!! I think Zab will get the best of the bangin! Plus zab has more skill than cotto, more experience, Zab is a fighter, meaning he fights as if the other guy stole something from his momma, I dont think that Cotto has that in him..zab just has him outnumbered on many things. Cotto may get cut in this fight too.

I don't know Gerald. You talk about all of Zab's physical traits but not the most important trait, his mind. I think Zab is going to break down under the pressure. Cotto is a powerful body puncher.

yes!!! and i think you'll find few people will debate this. Keep in mind, the first time he was hurt, against Corley, it was from a temple shot. And the second time, he never actually went down, despite being very hurt. And he won the fight. Judah on the other hand has been knocked down by Spinks, hurt by feather-fisted Baldomir, knocked down by Millet and Bergman, and of course, KTFO by Tszyu. Judah has a terrible chin. Much worse than Cotto's.

Also, Cotto went toe to toe with Abdullaev,Bailey, and Pinto, all three of which can punch if nothing else.

Yes, beyond reasonable doubt - Cotto has a better chin than Judah.

Tszyu was a pretty good puncher but still, Judah got KTFO with one punch. It's not like Tszyu has a history of destroying opponents in the 2nd round with 1 shot.

Cotto's chin is not granite, but it's better than Judah's.

In the fights Ive seen Cotto has been hurt really bad..to the point where he could have been literally killed in the ring..if this is not true...then maybe they need to re-edit his highlight reel!! So I'm going to stand with feeling that his chin is worse!! Hope I'm proven right next week!!

and zab has an old granite chin!! (its more solid than the tile but not as solid as it should be but it has stood up over the years)

ive seen almost all of zabs fights, i think i may have seen about 5 cotto fights, to be honest, my opinion is biased, i consider judah an old friend, we were olympic alternates together back in 96, and roomates at times during the 3 month training camp.....and Cotto was like an enemy in international competition even though we were in totally different weight classes, we were still repping different countries at the Pan American Games back in 1999....so i'm rooting for who i WANT to win, and not who i think will win!!!

Judah has tasted the canvas over and over again in his career. He may be your friend, but defending his chin is stupid. :notallthere: Handspeed, yes. Chin, retarded. Seriously, did you see him dancing after the one punch from Zoo? No matter how hurt you think Cotto has been, he ain't ever danced like that!
