View Full Version : What fights would you make in order to get fighters you hate KTFO? Or humiliated?

Assuming that we have to adhere to reasonable weight-class limitations, what fights would you make in order to guarantee the destruction of the fighters you hate (or dislike or for some other reason would like to see lose).
Me?
First thing I'd do is put PBF in with Margarito. More than ever, I'm convinced that Margarito's work-rate and unorthodox punching is exactly what the doctor ordered for putting a beating on PBF. His defense would just be over-taxed, and he'd be paying too big a price for his own offense. If Margarito didn't knock PBF out, he'd certainly win a decision. No question about it.

I think Mayweather would potshot, leap in with shots, and move and dance his way to a dull decision over Margarito.
I think Paul Williams would have a better chance at beating Floyd, although I'm not sure he gets past Margarito.

 Light the fire.
It all depends wether the referee will enforce the rules or not, I can see Fraud potting one shot to the stomach and sprinting around the perimeter for 12 straight rounds while the crowd boo's and Margarito boo's with them (the way he did in the 10th round of his fight with Clottey) it was some cute shit.

I would love to see Calzaghe get his ass worked by Hopkins.
I'd scrap next weekend's Showtime card, and just force Tarver to go straight to Chad Dawson, and then fade away with two straight humiliating losses on his ledger.

Why is it humiliating to lose to the best 175 pounder in the world, who is entering his physical prime? Tarver is done at age 38. I wouldnīt be shocked, if he struggled with Muriqi. At the same time, Dawson will give Tarver the space and time for a perfect counterpunch.
I donīt really want anybody to get KTFO badly, I want every fighter to step up to a challenge. In some cases this will automatically result in a KO-loss, and if not Iīll give the fighter credit, e.g. I donīt hate Alex Dimitrenko, I just wish Dimitrenko would fight Povetkin. :crafty: :crafty:

b4 I even opened this thread I knew your contribution would be Mayweather-Margarito. You're ridiculous.
I'd LOVE to see this fight made, but for different reasons:
Mayweather would EMBARRASS HIM!!!!

It would be humiliating to those who still regard Tarver as the 2nd best LHW on the planet

i'd favor johnson to beat him in a 3rd fight.
I'd have the excuse making Edison Miranda fight a rematch with Pavlik so I could see him get humiliated again.

I would say Calzaghe but I don't know who humiliates him or knocks him out.
Shitali Quitschko too.
Since Tarver already got humiliated he's off my list, I feel no need to see him get humiliated again.

To be honest , I doubt Hopkins (even though he is more skilled) would beat Calzaghe ...
Slappy is fast + throws way to many punches and he has great stamina ...
He could easily win a decision on work rate even if Bernard lands cleaner shots ..
Hopkins would have to KO him and I don't see that happening ....

I forgot about Calzaghe. I would put him in with Pavlik or Adamek or possible Chad Dawson. But more importantly, I'd make him fight them in Vegas.

None of them will batter Joe. maybe give with a very tough fight or beat him on points, but he's tougher than many people think. You'd have to put him in there against Oneill Bell or Mormeck to see him get beat.
