OK , we all know what happend when they fought ...

I was thinking though and after seeing Toney's last two fights - plus he gained like 25lbs, its possible Evander could beat him if they rematched ...

Toney has declined ALOT since the fight with Holy and Holy is on a comeback winning streak ...

What do you guys think ?

Maybe its just me but IMO Toney doesn't even throw half as many punches anymore and is 25lbs heavier ...
Toney gets winded now and sometimes he can't even hold his deffense up.
Last time Evander lost steam and Toney came on later. I'm not sure this would happen if they fought again ..

It would. Evander ran out of steam because of Toney's style. He stood in front of Evander while Holy was throwing shots and making him miss. Not too mention the counter body shots James was landing.

Toney is definetly on the slide but the only difference i'd see in a rematch is the fight lasting a bit longer.

man, i can't think of a fight i'd care less about.

in any case, i'd never in a million years bet on Holyfield to beat anyone he hasn't paid off first.

Well , you might be correct there but , can Evander overcome a much fatter , less active , much less stamina , slower Toney ?

Damn why do so many people shit on Evander's chances NOW? By all accounts, Toney was lucky to get past Danny friggin' Batchelder, a chap who's past whatever prime he had.

I think Evander wins today, though it would probably be as "exciting" as Evander-Oquendo.
