Go ahead and compare the extremes.. Holy thinks he will be undisputed HW Champion again while Jones feels he can contend with the top light heavies and even the best HW in the world?

Who is more off their rocker? Who is more delusional?

Haymaker

Jones, since he only fought Ruiz....while holyfield made his career at HW

Roy thinks he can fight Wladibum the Zombie at heavyweight. I think that edges it out for Roy.

Jones

Jones

just look at his attempted rap career

Hmmmm. But Evander countered with "Dancing with the Stars"

I think that's a wash..

I agree with Haymaker, Roy is more delusional because he didn't have a career at HW while Holy spent most of his career there.

Both have no business fighting the top fighters anymore. In Holy's case, he shouldn't be fighting, period. Jones isn't far away from that point either.

Hanshaw is a much more credible opponent at this point than anyone Holyfield has faced recently. And if Holyfield did fight someone on the level of Hanshaw, he'd lose for sure. So I'd say Holyfield is more delusional at this point.

RJJ, still with his speed, could possible beat some decent fighters.

Holy...

Roys loses although werent to the greatest fighters were atleast loses to some decent guys....

Holy hasent look good against a top fighter in forever, granted he looks like a new holy fighting guys like lou, but we will see what happins when he moves up in comp

Beat me to it. You KNOW Roy doubts himself at his core.

Evander really thinks he can do it.

REED Doesn't THINK Roy Actually BELIEVES he could even Compete w/Wlad...Roy's just:stir: w/that Remark...

But Holyfield GENUINELY Believes he's Gonna B UNDISPUTED Again...Not Win "A" Title, but ALL of the Titles...

THAT's Delusional...

Agree. Roy would never actually sign to fight Wladimir or any other truly dangerous heavyweight for that matter.

Evander would pick a fight with "The Incredible Hulk" if he thought it would get him the Undisputed Heavyweight Crown.

Then he would throw 3 punches a round and claim he outworked The Hulk at the end of the fight.

I am going to take a slightly different tact in answering this question. Delusional means (without googling, or wikepeding, or whatevering!) somoene is not thinking in a way that suggests they are aware of that general consensus that we call reality.

Now on the one hand is Roy Jones, who does not have the weight to be a heavyweight. Cannot really fight off the ropes anymore, but still has some of his speed, craftiness, etc. Roy has been KO'ed in the lower divisions and has beat one guy at heavy who sucks.

How will Roy take a heavyweight punch right now? He is indeed delusional to call out Vlad.

Holy is not delusional. Holy might be mistaken but... Holy has beat some guys at heavy. Holy has experience against big punchers. Holy is a very determined guy and still has a chin (nobody has KO'ed him in the ring recently). Holy has a chance albeite a slim one.
