There's a bigger chance of Ike Turner singing the national anthem than there is of Tyson and Rooney teaming up and Tyson rematching Holyfield.

That's little more than a rumour at this point according to fightnews, and Rooney and Tyson don't like or trust each other.

Tyson can't fight for more than 5 rounds tops anymore. Holyfield will knock his ass out again.

This fight would do absolutely NOTHING for the sport save cause embarrassment and possibly cause serious injury to one or both of these men who now should be absolutely NOWHERE near the inside of a boxing ring in any competitive sense.

Worse. But, although Holy is my favorite fighter ever and one of the reasons I got to boxing, I find this kind of sad. Both should be retired. However, it's also kind of sad, that both will most likely provide a better show, more excitement and better action than those two fellas who unified two heavyweight titles last weekend at Madison Square Garden.
this will be a MONUMENTAL and MONSTROUS EXTRAVAGANZA!!

even Holyfield admits he will get critized for fighting Tyson a third time. Even as delusional as he is and knowing they are both shot. He can still recognize it's a waste of time.

Boxing is gonna have a BLAZING year!!LOK is 100% correct.
This is what's requred to put the heavyweight division and boxing itself back on the map and favourable with the general public again!!
The fact that both these guys are shot, shit and may well suffer long-term damage needs to be considred secondary.
It's the sport that counts.
:bears:
you guys are all hatin but this will be better than you all expect
Not sure if this is a good idea or not, but i gaurantee it will be more exciting to watch that the Wlad fight.

Klitschko would literally shit himself at the prospect of facing either of these guys at this stage of their careers.
In fact, anyone in the current Top20 'Heavyweight-Division-of-The-Dead' would be the same.

a) Klitschko doesn't hit as hard as say, Ruddock for a start
b) Klitschko doesn't even have an uppercut
Equation: small, fast, powerful P4P puncher + tall, robotic, questionable courage, safety-first EuroBum = Death of the latter.

Klitschko does hit harder than Ruddock, but is faster and much more accurate and punches more straight. Ruddock became overrated after the KO of Dokes. Apart from that he has no impressive victories.
Wlad doesn't use the uppercut much that is true. And of course, he wouldn't even fight inside against Tyson, instead he would clinch there, and since Tyson was unable to deal with strong guys in clinches, it would work. Outside Wlad would bomb Tyson out.
Tyson was more fun to watch, just like Arturo Gatti was more fun to watch that ODLH. It didn't really matter though when they actually fought

I doubt WK could bomb Tyson out having to hit in a downwards direction.
No-one bombed Tyson out until he was pretty shot.

Bull shit. Mike Tyson was freaking 23 years old when Buster Douglas dismantled him. He showed the world the blueprint for beating Tyson.
Tyson didn't lose to Douglas because he was old or shot or missed Kevin Rooney. He lost to Douglas because Buster had the skill set, determination and chin to expose Mike's limitations.

come on Trpl, I know you do not believe that
Mike lost to Douglas beacause he thought he was invincible and went on a party spree and lost all motivation and hunger he had.. he thought he'd just blow through everyone. he was doing nothing leading up to that fight but celebrating and partying
