The name says it all; “Texas Slugfest”. For the second time in as many chances, the Harrison Boxing Group put on a show under this moniker which more than lived up to its billing. This crowd pleasing, affordable night of action was held at the Cowtown Coliseum, in the historic Ft. Worth Stockyards, deep in the heart of Ft. Worth, Texas. A ravenous crowd (which included former undisputed welterweight champion, Donald Curry, the undefeated and very lovely, Vanessa Juarez, and heavyweight, Kendrick Releford) attended, hoping to satisfy an appetite for knockouts and toe-to-toe action and they weren’t disappointed.
