both Diaz' lawyer and even Don King quit working with Diaz because of Savannah.
Now that's pretty rare, especially for a hard, ruthless businessman like Don King.
What is up with Savannah? Does anyone know the whole story? Is willie a complete dickhead or is there more to the story?
Don never dumped Juan, they dumped him months ago.
And he DID try to get them back but failed.
Levin basicially wasnt doing much for Juan and wanted Willie out of the picture and that wouldnt happen so he left.

Really? It was the Diaz team choice to drop king?
Yup, the "King dumps Diaz" story was a press release by none other than Don Kings P.R. guy.

That's why when I posted it I said "King-Diaz part ways".

Bottom Line, Juan Diaz is FIERCELY LOYAL to Willie Savannah...MORE Boxers Should B that Way Towards the Guys that BIRTHED their Careers...
REED:cool:
the bottom line for me is that savannah is a hypocrite, and has not been making decisions in the best interest of diaz's career lately.

I remember when Diaz signed with King he came close to signing with Golden Boy.
According to Golden Boy King added a bonus on the contract that really was money he already owed Savannah. Savannah wanted Goldenboy to match that figure.
Golden Boy told him to fuck off because that extra money came from some personal shit from him and King. They had given him a good offer but Savannah was trying to get that from Golden boy also.
That is goldenboy's version at the time. but Savanna does have the reputation of being a snake and Diaz will forever be loyal to him.

Hey Karl hope all is well!
So you mean this isn't a first? Don King on his own volition walking away from a fighter because he felt wronged?!

This is damage control from Don, bro.
He has been out the door since last year.
