when Junior got done against Bradley, I thought that it was a good thing at first, because I thought Hatton would be more likely to fight him now.
However, now that I think about it, the fight will obviously never happen.
Still, this doesn't change the fact that Witter would LIQUIDATE Hatton still.
Anybody who saw Hatton vs Lazcano will agree.

Both guys suck. Both guys do nothing. Hatton is at least aggrssive even though his hit and hold style is ugly and illegal. Witter just stands there doing nothing. Hatton would win a wide UD.

Witter doesnt need to throw alot of punches to knock out Hatton. Witter has speed, as well as power, and with the way Hatton recklessly flys in with no regard for D, Witter could easily catch him w/something he doesnt see, and put him on his back. Bradley fought Witter smart. He put pressure on him, but he wasnt reckless with it, and he kept a tight guard. Plus that fast overhard right Bradley put Witter down with is not the type of punch Ricky can get off anyway. Hatton's ONLY defense at this point in his career is clinching.
I'd say a fight between him & Witter right now is a pick em. Only because Witter is no spring chicken himself.
Torres would knock him out, and I'd give Bradley an excellent chance of beating him too.

Lets not act like Hatton has this top tier resume, and has fought top fighters his only career. 85% of Ricky's resume are still bums. Guys who were certainly no more deserving of a shot than Witter. What did Juan Lazcano do to "deserve" a shot at Hatton, besides lose to Harris(Witter's son no less) over a year ago! Hatton was fighting Witter's leftovers' leftovers, yet Witter doesnt deserve a shot?
