Following his stirring March 8th victory over Juan Diaz in Cancun Mexico, Nate Campbell has been taking in the life of a champion. Still, from heated debates at the MVP Barbershop in his native Jacksonville to working on his newly bought 1969 Chevy CT Truck, Campbell is the same man at the end of the day, whether he is holding the IBF, WBA, and WBO Lightweight belts or not
After his title winning effort, much of Campbell's focus was put towards his May 17th wedding to his fiance' Rosa. The wedding was a lavish ceremony that went off without a hitch and a honeymoon to the Cayman followed shortly thereafter. Upon returning the United States, however, Campbell knew it was time to get back to work.
"I hit training camp earlier this week," Campbell said recently of his drive down to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. "Even before the Casamayor fight went to purse bid I was ready to come down for camp."
