So Williams is the favorite and now has a new agreement with Everlast.

Not good signs for Quintana.

Everlast inks deal with Williams!
Everlast Worldwide Inc. and former WBO welterweight boxing champion Paul Williams announced a long term agreement today. The agreement allows Williams to exclusively wear Everlast footwear, apparel, and professional fight gloves. The deal comes just days before Williams’ much anticipated rematch against champion Carlos Quintana on Saturday at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut. The fight will air on Showtime beginning at 9 pm ET / 6 pm PT. Matt Cowan, Director of Sports Marketing for Everlast Worldwide comments, “Paul Williams’ physical stature and relentless fighting style is a true representation of the strength and dedication that our brand was built upon. He is a champion in and out of the ring, and we are extremely proud to welcome Paul and his team to the Everlast family.” With his first professional defeat against Carlos Quintana behind him, "The Destroyer" is ready to reenter the ring for Quintana vs. Williams II this weekend and regain his WBO Welterweight Championship belt. Williams will be outfitted in custom Everlast attire and Everlast professional fight gloves during the fight.

Either that, or he's leaving Goossen to sign with Tournament of Contenders (since Sergio Mora's on the card and they'll be in town). Why he'd do that, I have no idea. But just a thought...

Leave Goossen like Guerrero's trying to do?

That wouldn't leave much for GT, once Toney retires (he probably should be already).

Quintana better knock Williams out to secure the victory, or at least drop his ass a few times. Just in case...:hammert:
