Not being televised here. Give us the details. This is do or die for Santos, maybe his last title shot. I know many of you hate Santos (mainly because Margarito have never been able to defeat him), but he is still a decent boxer with only three defeats in his record.

Santos will dominate. W12, unanimous, the scores will be closer than the fight reflects

That was a beautiful feint by Santos just before he threw the KO punch.
I always thought he fought as if he didn't believe in himself. But I think the Margarito fight woke him up like someone else mentioned. Santos always kinda fought - for lack of a better term - gay. But Margarito made him fight and we discovered a few good things about him. One, he can punch. Two, he doesn't take one that well but he's got some moxie. And finally, a big, strong southpaw is always gonna be a problem if he fights like one. He's been inactive in the past and that led to a lackluster performance against that other champ but if he stays busy, he'll be a problem.

One of the best jr. middleweight fights of the last few years, certainly top five. Great boxing conest.
How good Dzinziruk is? Well some say he lost to Sebastian " One good ear" Lujan, but I havenīt seen that fight. I think he clearly lost his last fight to Lukas Konecny (9-3, 8-4ish), who is a mid-level european talent. My theory is that he can box with the best of them, but can look like total garbage against mediocre swarmers.

Exactly, I don't get to pick who is champ, I didn't get to pick Santos to be a legit champ, he did that himself by koing Alcine. I get to pick who's the man to beat, a.k.a. the number 1 of the division, and Santos may very well be that man at 154

Well then the last recognized unified champion at junior middleweight was Winky Wright and since he was not defeated in the ring for those belts, the next boxer recognized as the Man in the division was Travis Sims, who was defeated by Joachim Alcine which now was defeated by Santos. Thus Santos is now The man, unless you try to make a case for Segio Mora who beat old timer Vernon Forrest, who won the title in an eliminator against coming-from-defeat welter Carlos Baldomir:boohoo:or maybe Verno Philips, who beat Cory Spinks, who decisioned Roman Karmazin (after being KO silly in his previous bout with Zab Judah at welter), who defeated Kassim Ouma, who lost the title in his second defense and had won the title from Verno Philips, who won the vacant title in an eliminator and lost it in his first defense.:shit:
In my book, Daniel Santos is The Man. Of course he needs to fight and beat Dzinziruk to erase any doubts as to who is #1.

All I know is Santos and Dzindurik both have a title. They fought before and Santos lost. That makes him nothing more than a paper champion. Trying to rationalize Santos in front of him is pretty pathetic.

Really? Based on his win over Jose Rivera? :atu:Travis Sims was a titleist, he was never "the man". There wasn't 1. Just a bunch of titleist. Of course when you have 2 titleist, and 1 already beat the other I think he should be rated in front of the guy he beat. Especially when he drops him and wins clearly.
