That's high praise for an upcoming opponent.
This is a really good match-up for Telefutura on 9/26.
Escobedo was a hot name four years ago, but he has to prove his career hasn't already plateaued. Meanwhile, it's a big step up fight for Salcido against his best opponent to-date.
Since they're both in the mid-20's, with pro careers that started only a year and a half a part, and with only 1 loss between them, it's hard to call it a cross-roads fight.
But it sorta feels like that.
Two losses for Escobedo and he'll get written off. But while he's younger, Salcido's actually been a pro longer, and this will be a lot of people's first look at him.
