There are so many WW2 movies, 'nam movies, even a Korean war movie or two, but WWI? I can't think of a many/any relatively recent (like the past 3 decades) famous WW1 movie.

Are there any good ones?

All Quiet On The Western Front

I'm can't think of anything else at the moment. There's a definite void.

Flyboys was terrible.

them two are usually small roles or don't appear in WWII movies at all. I can't even think of a movie with Stalin in it.

Burnt by the Sun (for Stalin)

How could I forget Lawrence of Arabia for a WW1 movie, and also Johnny Got His Gun---which was used in the Metallica video One back in their thrash metal days.

Not a War movie, but Legends of the Fall had some scenes where the brothers were in the first War.
