Price This sound just like the british promoter typical sale speech. We're very close to signing a fight against (Insert random big name). Hear nothing for a few days/weeks. Finally there's an announcement that the negociation have broken because (insert random big name) was too greedy, but that they took the next biggest fight available (insert random scrub name).
That's what I've been thinking. Keep mentioning Wlad's name, only to say that talks have broken down. I think they want the Wlad fight for next year and Hearn will announce it soon for the WBA/WBO belts. I see Haye being next for the IBF. Parker's AJ's mandatory, but that means shit these days. Win-win situation. If AJ loses to Haye, he'll still have the fight with Wlad to look forward to for the other belts. If he beats Haye, throw in the IBF belt or vacate and let Parker fight for it.
Now Fury has lost his licence and his belts, Id put money on Joshua v Klitschko. Mkes total sense now those two belts are free. If Hearn can make Brook x Golovkin, this should be a doozy...
What do you think of my theory that AJ will fight Haye for the IBF AND announce Wlad-AJ for the WBA/WBO belts? Win-win situation for Hearn, Joshua and Haye.
Wlad is a great opportunity for joshua i think, and I'm guessing Hearn and joshua feel the same. Big 'coming out' fight if he can dramatically KO a big long-known name while the win is still regarded as meaning something
