Sly my man, I know you're a Superman fan so I thought I might ask you, especially since you have a keen interest in evolution, the world, universe, etc.
I was watching Superman The Movie(1978) with Christopher Reeve on AMC the other day and the ending of the movie got me thinking. It's also been a debate for the past 30 years amongst many people.
Near the end, Superman becomes so overwhelmed with grief at the death of Lois Lane that he, while enraged, flies around the earth at the speed of light, causing the earth to reverse the direction of its rotation and at the same time, reversing the flow of time.
After all the chaos and carnage of Luthor's nuclear bombs are undone and Lois Lane is resurrected, Superman then does a 180 and flies back around in the original rotation of the earth so time can move forward normally again.

The argument here isn't about Superman being a comic book character with x-ray vision and being faster than the speed of light, etc. The argument is, if the earth rotates in reverse, what is the result? Why is the theory of time reversal during the reversal of the earth's rotation so far-fetched in many peoples' minds despite not actually ever being scientifically proven to my knowledge by any scientist of physicist.
I was thinking about asking in the TAAA section but a whole lot of dumbasses go off topic quickly. LOL!

Can you rename a thread for me in general discussion. The school thread. Can you change it to Take your son to school day.
