Big Frank was a decent boxer on his day with world class power.

He didn't have a great chin which was his downfall.

Was easily beating Lewis and I believe on the verge of stopping him when he got caught.

Knocked out 38 guys from his 40 wins, that's up there with the best in the world.

    He really does get under-rated.

Speed, right hand. Bruno was too robotic to beat that fluid guy. Haye would have knocked him out.

The fact that you put Bellew in there is a proof that this is a troll job.

Ok...I admit, Bellew inclusion was a bit of trolling, but I'm serious about the rest.

Mentioning Bellew is a joke, but all the others on that list actually have a better victory under their belts than Bruno ever did.

Bruno looked very good early on against Lennox, but my problem with him is that he lost every single time he was up there with a good opponent. In fact the only top-10 contender he ever beat was McCall, who at the fight time was on drugs and had nearly lost to 45 year old Holmes. Still, Bruno almost found a way to blow it, too.

For all the shit he gets (and he has deserved lot of it), Haye's wins over Valuev, Ruiz and Chisora are bigger achievements than McCall, Coetzer and Tillis. Out of Haye's victims. Chisora is closest to Bruno and against him Haye had his best performance. And yes I know, Chisora is no Bruno. He also didn't come close of beating Haye.

I guess how you rate Bruno depends on how much weight you give to 1) looking good in losses and 2) blowing away no-hopers. Apart from Lennox and Bellend fights, I don't think any of these is a lock either way, though I would confidently pick Fury over Bruno

In work today, I was mulling over the absolute fucking demolition job that Tommy Morrison would have done on Haye.

    Bruno beats him too.

Vitali had precious few "Big" wins.

He would however kick several shades of shit out of Haye.

Barrett and Ruiz were shot, utterly shot,to all definition when they fought Haye.

    Valuev never fought again, either.

And I thought Valuev won vs Haye. It was far from a defining win.

No, and not the same David Haye that lost to Bellew.

Morrison took much better punches vs guys like Ruddock and Foreman.

Morrison-Haye would be a fun fight. Haye had that very quick right hand power, but Morrison threw much better combos. To say Haye’s combination punching was underwhelming is a big understatement. They both have similar flaws, but I think Morrison gets him outta there in a fight with multiple KDs.

I never saw the big thing about Haye other than people getting over excited yet again about a guy with hand speed (limited to single shots) and right hand power. Shaky stamina, shaky chin, sloppy all around. Old ass Holyfield did better than Haye did versus Valuev.

Haye is such an over-rated fighter.

If you go back to his first loss in the incredible fight versus the old war machine Carl Thompson he makes the same flaws then that he does now.

Would be happy to never see him fight again, he's also pulled out of more fights than any other fighter I can think of.

Haye-hating posters: would you like to see Haye in with guys who could and would crush him, either 8-12Rd steady punishments/hospitalization or 1-3Rd KOs...or do you hate him that much he doesn' deserve the payday?

He did what he criticized numerous Klitschko opponents for doing. He fought extra cautious, looking to not get KO’d and just hope to land one unlikely big shot. He also fell to the floor about a dozen times on non-KDs and took off his shoe in the post fight interview to show his hurt toe.

Him losing via highlight reel knockout like Pacquiao-Hatton, or Tyson-Berbick/Jones-Griffin 2 with him falling multiple times from one punch.
