I got into baseball pretty good this year from May to July. I watched the WBC in March. I even watched the College World Series & the first round of the MLB draft and I always watch the All-Star game.
Strangely I only watched two Cub games (my team) as that's all I could find on TV.

But then the Women's WC and Everton's preseason started up. I put baseball on the shelf after the All-Star game. Unlike the last two seasons, the Cubs aren't out of it. So I'll be keeping an eye on baseball for a while. I always watch the playoffs in October.

I've been watching baseball here and there. Not often, but I've seen a couple games. Was watching Rangers vs Padres last night.

Being that I love watching my old sports on YouTube, I was watching the 1990 WS between the Reds and As last week.

If you go back 25 years, baseball was my third favorite sport behind boxing and basketball.

    Jesus Christ. How much?

Mane wasn't exactly tearing up the Bundesliga last year.

Not sure but his wages are likely to be big. Very big.

That signing made no sense to me from any perspective. He was flying high at Liverpool and it didn't seem to me like had a reason to be unhappy or would be fighting for playing time. The "new challenges" line didn't add up either. Then from Bayern's perspective i'm not sure why they sought him. Yes they were losing Lewandowski but there's no way Bayern though that would be a replacement. Both sides ended up getting lucky to get bailed out by Saudi cash.

Maybe that could be a new sideline strategy going forward for European clubs. A player that is underperforming or their salary is a burden but is likewise a "name"? Dangle them in front of the Saudis. Actually come to think of it Real Madrid was hoping that would happen with Gareth Bale.

Mané not returning to England is really proof he's got a beef with Klopp.

Sweden's starting line up -10 blondies and a black lady.

Argentina looks like women's prison team. Some rough looking women out there.

Italy has a little 16 year-old starting in midfield. You know Prince Andrew will be tuning in for that one.

Season starts tomorrow but I think the summer work is only half done

A few of Celtic's singings look promising - the young Norwegian CM and Polish centre backs especially- but i think overall we're probably still weaker than we were last season given the loss of Jota & Mooy who were among only a handful of Celts really able to tranalate what they do to Champions League level.

Still desperately hoping for a top level keeper. Hart is done and was probably never actually good enough. Our pursuit of Croatia's number 1 Livakovic has turned into a saga but hope remains.

And I think we need somebody of Jota's talent level on the wing - maybe that'll turn out to be either the Korean or Australian lads we've signed but I'd prefer we bring in somebody more proven. Rumours of the brazillian Tete from Shaktar persist.

Bonus points if we ever get a decent left back who can run faster than 10mph. Wolves & Bilbao both happened to have speed demons as right wingers which helpfully made the issue obvious to Rodgers.
