Quite enjoy these recent topics that have been popping up. Thought I'd add one.

Morales I'd say was greater, in large part due to the win in the first Pac fight.

Better is literally a matter of taste. I think Barrera peaked higher by a cunt hair. Maybe I say that because Barrera's style was smoother.

Morales was ugly to watch. At least imo.

Morales for both imo, ever since slightly. The Pac win helps Erik. Barrera had a more elegant style, though.

I liked morales' style. Those sharp angled right hands were deadly. He stands out among Mexican greats with his righthand-centric offense and less emphasis on big lefthooks. I also liked how Morales could punch going forward....he was good at closing the distance to get maximal leverage.

But morales would not have won that first fight had pac not been made to wear Winning gloves.

Fat Barrera would never give Danny Garcia a competitive fight so Morales is greater by default

There was a stark difference in morales' ability to withstand pac's power between the 1st and 2nd fights. You can ignore that if you want.

Was there that big of a difference though? A big enough difference to not be put down to age/past prime? Morales was definitely hurt a few times in the first fight, and he survived till pretty late in the second.

What's the explanation for the much bigger difference between the second and third fights?

I think Morales was greater and better. He might have had a better style for Pacquiao, but in the same way, Barrera had a better style for Morales.

Flip a coin, no wrong answer. Morales does have wins over Barrera’s daddies.

Morales wins over: Pacquiao, Barrera, Daniel Zaragoza, Junior Jones, Paulie Ayala, Kevin Kelley, Guty Espadas

Barrera’s wins over: Morales x2, Naseem Hamed, Johnny Tapia, Kennedy McKinney, Rocky Juarez,
