All of them will be brutal...

    I would prefer....
Harris vs Aaron Pryor....cause Pryor had it all speed, power, incredible workrate...Harris would be bloody, spent in 3 rounds...

Yeah true Viv would take a horrible beating from all. I think from the list probably Chavez, and Mosley would beat him the worst, cause they would kill his body before taking him out. Pryor, and Tszyu would both blast him out rather quickly. And Taylor would just slap the living the shit outta him all night before stopping him late.

Of the five, he has the best chance of beating Tszyu, who's never shown a great ability to defend against, or absorb, right hands. Not saying it's a guaranteed win for Viv, just that Tszyu is vulnerable enough to where Viv would at least have his moments.

As for the rest, all beat him, no questions asked.

Chavez would stop him, Shane might, but I have a feeling it goes the distance. I know he knocked everyone out at lightweight (save for Phillip Holiday), but he didn't exactly face murderers row while there. In fact, Leija and maybe John Brown are the only top ten contenders he faced.

People will point to the McGirt fight and say Meldrick stops him late after beating on him for 10 or 11 rounds. I think it will go the distance, though don't deny that it would be a one-sided fight. In fact, probably the most one-sided out of all five.

Pryor stops him midway through, after himself climbing off the canvas early.

Tszyu-Harris is a mismatch imo. Tszyu stops him easily.

Tszyu-Hurtado was also supposed to be a mismatch - and for the most part, it was. But Tszyu was still one knockdown away from his second career never getting off of the ground.

I dont think he lasts the distance with Shane. I think Mosley would stop him earlier than Chavez would.

Hurtado wasn't a mental midget like Viv either. Viv would have folded under the pressure.

Chavez, because he was the most cruel of all of them. It would be the slowest and in the end, Harris would look like the elephant man:2:

Hurtado's tremendous mental strength didnt seem to help him when Harris KOd him in 2 rounds.

You don't know shit Jake. There's noway in hell Viv survives against Mosley on his feet. Mosley may not have faced a "murders row" but the dominiation he showed and ability to break down those fighters tells you all you need to know. Viv wouldn't have been able to deal with the speed and movement and the body shots would have definitely put him away.

First off, watch your tone. :nono:

Second, when anyone shows me the example of fighters comparable to Harris (height, punching power, etc) that Shane knocked out, I'll have an easier time believing that Shane tears through him as everyone's suggested.

Shane dominated everyone at lightweight because he was (at least) a natural junior welterweight beating on lightweights and blown-up super featherweights - and again, none of which were all that great.

Viv's been stopped once (by Maussa, on a career-worst performance), and dropped only one other time - against Jose Luis Juarez, who either stopped or dropped everyone he faced. Yes, I acknowledge that Viv never faced anyone on Shane's level, nor am I picking him to win such a fight, or even any significant number of rounds. All I'm saying is that he lasts the distance

I swear, the things people take offense to around here.

Whaddya mean watch my tone? I didn't write in caps.

Anyway, you have to realize Shane is basically a brawler, and tough as hell. He was KOing everyone he fought pretty much and that only stopped after Forrest took his confidence. I seriously don't see the Mosley who had complete confidence in himself not stopping Vivian Harris. You can talk about elite fighters that he didn't fight at 135 all you want, but remember Viv wasn't elite either and he has a hell of alot more question marks then Shane does.
