Who will win this fight in July? Tito Ortiz, 32 has been looking like sh*t lately against anybody who's name isn't Ken Shamrock. Looked like mega-crap against that bum Forrest Griffin, and again got smacked around like a b*tch by Chuck Liddell.
Rashad Evans,27 is undefeated and is coming off almost having killed a lower-tier fighter on a Spike special from a high kick. His wrestling is supposedly top-notch and his striking is respectable, he's young and hungry. Does he have what it takes to put the final nail into the coffin of the declining career of Tito Ortiz? Or will Ortiz finally manage to notch an impressive win over somebody who's not in his 40s and semi-retired?
    Who's your pick and why?

prolly Ortiz in boring fashion.....He more than likely wont want to stand with Rashad too long....Rashad has some pretty respectable hands, so if Tito can get him down and hold him there, thats where his best shot lies

you dont think he can hold him down if he gets him there??? If Rashad is foccused on striking, maybe Tito has a better shot at getting him down....If he gets him down he should be able to hold him there.....

Either way, great test for Rashad.....He beats a guy like Tito he really needs to be watched....With some of his wins, that would be a huge notch and a right to start calling for his shot

Tito by decision. I also pick Josh Burkman to stun Karo Parisyan at UFC 71.

I think this is a great crossroads fight. Tito is still looked at as a top fighter, albeit not an elite fighter. Evans has certainly improved since his TUF days. It's a great test to see how far Evans has come and how far Ortiz has fallen.

Longterm, I think it's best for UFC is Evans wins, because an Ortiz win does nothing for him, since I doubt he'll ever fight Chuck again, as Chuck owns Ortiz the same way Ortiz owns Shamrock.

If Evans wins, he'll probably be in line for the winner of Liddell\Rampage. If he loses, it's probably back to Ultimate Fight Night for him.

Tito, win or lose, will stick around and continue to fight 'gatekeeper' fights. I could see a rematch with Forrest Griffin up next, and possibly a fight with Bisping down the line.

Good fight on a loaded card.

How is it a bullshit fight? An up and comer against a former top star?

Your blind hate for UFC makes you say some dumb things.

It's definitely NOT a bull shitfight. This is a very very important fight for both Ortiz and Evans. This is no tune up. Another bad loss for Ortiz and his career is in serious jeaporday. A great win for Evans and his career will go through the roof and will see a title shot before the end of the year.

It's not at all. Rashad is an undefeated up and comer and Tito is the former face of the UFC. It's a good fight.

Rashad by decision. He beats Tito standing and beat him on the ground. Tito basically has no advantage in this fight other than experience.

wrong, Tito beating Ken's ass is always watchable....

By the same token, its always nice watching Tito get his ass beat, so the Lidell fight was also watchable

And the Forrest fight was good....

Oh, funny story, RJ's email address is TitoOrtizNuthugger#1@ballsack.com, or something like that.....seriously
