Half the people in the forum threaten to throw acid in people's faces and other shit. You just can't take it too seriously, or you'd end up banning a heck of a lot of people.

seriously how many fights do you see before a title....no wait... a million dollar payday is in your grasp? Considering even the most touted amatuers to come out recently still haven't seen million dollar paydays I am wondering exactly how you are going to be different.
either way I offered up my advice. Good luck and when you grab that million dollar payday within 12-24 months time you can tell me how wrong I was.
I'll be waiting......buddy

Ricky Williams and Evander Oldyfield did $1m signing on deals.
David Reid fought for a title in his, 12th bout? I think so....and he would have been earning by the Trinidad fight.
theres another future star in the forum

very true but all these guys (you can add Fernando Vargas as well) were highly touted coming out of the ammy ranks. Here we got someone who is asking for that type of money while he has been 6 years out, is out of shape, and has no promoter to work under. I love the reach for the top thing but I just don't see it.Originally Posted by Orthodox Crusader
Also, when the Williams deal was announced the overwhelming view was that DBE paid far too much for him (I think it was 1.1 million total). Panchito, Lacy, Cotto if I am not mistaken all got considerably less.
in the end I hope I am proven wrong, this kid becomes the next big star, gets 1.2 million in his 15th fight and comes back to say I was wrong
Is Andre Ward gettign anywhere near those numbers.
Theh class of 2000's failures brought about very low to no signing bonuses for kids coming out of the amateurs.
