Good on Rampage, I like him, I didn't think he still had it.

I thought he was an early washed upper, only 27/28. He just hasn't seemed the same since.

Looks like I was wrong. He's clearly not shot. Either he particularly got up for this fight, or Chuck is a complete bum with a glass chin.

I must admit, I was a little disconcerted by the fact that lidell looked pregnant in the weigh in pics.

So what other heavyweights would you pick Rampage over now?

I think he might fight the winner of the Rashad Evans/Tito Ortiz fight now.

I'm not sold on the "he's not shot" argument. Liddell fought even more shittily than normal; anyone throwing punches like that is bound to get knocked out.

agreed.....a one punch flash KO doesnt get rid of the last 3 years of crap fights from Rampage, nor does it mean Lidell cant come back and knock out 7 more in a row

One short fight never proved anything for the winner. In Liddell's case, it hopefully proved that what everyone's always said about him; he's got no technique. Still, I'm suprised Rampage actually knocked him out with strikes on his feet. Rampage is no great striker, but he is reasonably tight. If you can keep your wits about you and avoid the bombs, thats the way to beat Liddell.

Come on Hooks, Chuck's been KTFO from pillar to post by Rampage 4 years ago, and he got KTFO again into unconsciousness in less than 2 minutes. I think it's apparent by now that Liddell just doesn't have the game to beat 'strikers'. It's one thing to beat up on 'imitation strikers', those are the wrestlers who try to emulate strikers. Anybody with some mma knowledge always said that Chuck would have hell to pay once he met somebody with legitimate striking ability. It's been proven again. Now let the old man rest. He's gonna be 38 this year, his time is coming to an end. Accept it and move on.

Nah, all you need to beat Chuck is some good boxing ability and a decent grappling game. His bombs are deliberate and his style is awkward. He's no match for a Rampage Jackson.

    lol at "my boy Chuck"....

I thought he would win, yes, but by no means was I rooting for him....Either guy is good for the sport, therefore good by me....I like listening to Rampage talk more, so I guess thats a good thing
