Anyway, it has to be Gracie for me. When MMA came to the market, we saw bar club guys claiming to be streetfighting gods, taekwon do fighters, kung fu masters, the whole deal. Heck we even had some poor boxers coming in to try out the circuit like that moron who fought while wearing a boxing glove. :D But Gracie showed us the importance of submission and ground fighting and that's when I realized the effectiveness of his art. He was influential to me.

bare knuckle was optional I think at the time. But this Jimmerson guy had a boxing glove on his right hand against Royce Gracie. It was funny as hell.
