I was going to post the same thing. Kimbo's training with Bas...by my question is whether Mercer is training at all.

He must be just doing this for the money...so maybe he'll treat it like the K-1 match where he took a kick to the head and said "no mas" seconds into it...or perhaps he'll dig into his bag of tricks and go the old school rout by offering Kimbo bribes during the fight.

I doubt Mercer's interested in fighting anymore...I still think his knockout loss to Briggs was questionable.

In his last two fights he basically quit while he was still able to continue physically. He no longer has the heart to actually FIGHT. If anyone thinks that isn't a far more important factor in his fight with Kimbo than his ability to throw a stiff jab, they're crazy.

    I agree

Once a fighter comes to the conclusion that they have no future win or lose , they can't put forward the effort like they used to ...

I saw a recent interview when Mercer says about the Kimbo fight. "Well, someone is gonna get knocked out, I don't know who, but someones getting knocked out". That doesn't sound like a very confident man.
