I just read the article about Frank, and apparently there is talk of a match against Ken, I'm sure some of you guys on here follow MMA a hell of a lot more than me, could this fight happen, is there a "beef" between the two???
Frank hates him and has mentioned wanting to fight him for a while now. Apparently it's a pretty sour relationship between the two. Frank, while training with Ken, thought Ken's training habits were primitive and suggested a change and Ken told him to either accept it or get lost. That's what I heard from Frank.
There was a stretch were they wouldn't talk too each other at all but now there on talking terms again though there not buddy buddy or anything like that.
Thats ashame that these two adopted brothers who worked with each other and owned gyms together have developed such bad blood. They should be hangin out together , not fighting each other.
When I saw Frank at a Strikeforce event in San Jose, Ken was there with him. I doubt the relationship is as bad as the media makes it out to be.
I've been to a two of them and one was when he announced he'd fight Baroni. He didn't fight that night, and the other was when he fought Gracie. I believe Ken was there both times. The last one where he fought Baroni is the one you are talking about right? I didn't go to that one.
Yeah, he was talking about future opponents and saying how he was only interested in guys who could sell pay per view. People started mentioning names and Ken's name came up and he basically sent he'dbe interested the fight. He was asked directly by a reporter who said that he'd read that the Shamrock's had stated they'd never fight each other...and Frank said something like "I've never said that" and sounded very open to the fight. Sherdog had a link for the post-fight press conference on their site if you want to check it out.
I was just surprised to read this I always thought their relationship was better than the press make out.. As for a winner...Ken is to old these days...Frank would be all over him..
when was the last time Ken won a fight? the guy's been shot for years and hasn't really looked good since leaving WWF. well, he looked okay vs. don frye, but they were both past their peak by then.
