I'd say Randy Couture is one of the best of all time considering all he's accomplished in 2 seperate divisions along with his longevity at or near the top over the past 10 years.
If Fedor comes in and cleans house and takes the title, he can become the greatest mma fighter who ever lived, if all goes well.

Sak was tough.....but I'm just wondering why none of the guys who were dominant in Pride were the same in other fighting organizations.

Personally.......Sak wouldn't be in my top ten.

Sakuraba is an MMA legend and pioneer. His natural weight class was 185 and he could've cut to 170, if Pride had that division. He had no business fighting 205 pounders, let alone heavyweights.

Sak is one of the best, I wouldn't put him as the best but he definitely in the top 10.

There is a huge ? with Fedor. He dominated Pride, if he dominates the UFC, he is #1 in my book.

Penn is the could've, would've, should've candidate. If the guy had the discipline to train and maintain a decent weight, but instead he's fighting at MW.

I always wanted to see Marco Ruas in his prime against some of the elite competition of today.
