Wow. My original pick was Vargas, after Nando's injury I picked Mayorga, but now I dunno. Mayorga looks soft as hell at 164(compared to how he looked at 147). And I STILL think he's intimidated by Vargas.

both look softish, TBH, this should probably have been at 160lb. And their posturing and intimidation tactics are fucking embarrassing, especially Nando, flexing his 12 inch arms and traps over and over again as if he was King Kong.

word. Although I blame FATASS Nando more for that.

Anything can happen in this fight. I'm leaning towards Nando now....but not enough to change my official pick.

I still think Mayorga takes a better punch and it may come down to that at the end of the day.

I may change my pick soon though...

Nando always does that shit at weigh-ins. I agree, its corny as hell. The posturing is a bit played out, but what I'm saying is, I really do believe that after the press confrence brawl, Vargas has had Mayorga intimidated. Mayorga wasnt even as animated at this weigh-in as he was previous ones. Mayorga's whole aura of confidence that he once had is gone IMO. Tito & DLH beat the confidence and swagger outta him. Now all he is, is tough talk. I hope Vargas fucks him up!

It really is a disappointment that this fight is happening in 07 at 164 though. If they had fought in 03-04 at 154, it'd be a much more interesting, and better fight.

Hopefully Sly will come around for this fight and not open himself up to being castigated for picking the Nicarugian who is obviously depending on the plexiglass screen to make sure Nando, the Aztec warrior does not permanently damage him like he almost did with that first punch at the initial press conference.

Kaliber has a chance to get back in the running with this fight as well.

Mayorga doesn't seem at all intimidated to me. Nando has nothing but dumb shit to say, and keeps flexing. He kept looking over to Mayorga for approval I'm pretty sure Nando is the scared one. Mayorga is confident, and looks sharper. Ripped Nando isn't a good thing. That roid pumping gesture was hilarious.
