I'm trying to lose weight and I'm wondering when is it best to stop eating? After 6pm? I joined a gym and doing cardio about 1hr per day. I'm also watching what I eat as well. :hammert: If I get hungry after 6pm I eat fruits or vegetables.

conventional wisdom says it's best to taper your calories as the day goes on and especially your carbs. Fruit and veg wouldn't really be optimal, have your last meal be something slow digesting & protein/fat based like cottage cheese or nuts. As long as it's smallish and slow digesting I dont suppose it really matters when you have it, but some people say your best not eating for 90 minutes before bed. TBH though the overriding thing is just to lower your calories. carb tapering, meal frequency, steady protein intake etc etc are variables that can be tweaked to give you an extra 5% effectiveness or something they're not gonna make or break a diet.

You should have you eating three hours before going to sleep.
