    Default PBF WORKING WITH KING, POSSIBLE SPINKS MATCHUP

    It looks like those of you who didn't want the JMM-PBF fight will have their wish. Hope you guys are happier with this stinkfest. Possible return date for Floyd could be July 18 and I guess Spinks looked shot enough for Flunk Mayweather Junior to pick him as an opponent.

    JMM is looking to return around Sep 12 or 19 and his possible opponents are Hatton, Pacquaio, and Moralles. Although JMM's negotiations with Floyd haven't completely fallen apart yet, the weight issue still remains a big hindrance to their matchup coming off.

    Thoughts?

    nor do I care much about a Spinks fight

    I'd like to see him fight the winner of Pac-Hatton which will be Pac

    but.. Pac will never fight Floyd.. that is one fight he would lose for sure

    Would this be for the recent 154 belt Spinks picked up?

    I don't have much negative to say about this fight.

    I think it's an interesting styles match-up, and would prefer it to a Marquez fight.

    I actually agree. Didn't like the 147 Marquez fight, its a decent comeback fight as REED said.

    I've got nothing against this match-up either. Yeah, it will probably be dull, but I'm curious to see how Floyd deal with Spinks. Spinks is pretty competent (albeit boring), is pretty hard to beat and he's bigger than Floyd.

    Spinks SHOULD be feared,.. by larger fighters,.. .. but Fraud has that accurate straight pot, behind his elbow flick,.. so he'll be right.

    I remember Fraud groupies exclaiming that,.. "When ya's all gunna learn that PRESSURE doesnt trouble Floyd!!" ... well..lol... you are certainly not going to beat him by running away, that's for sure. This fight will look like his fight with Sharmba Mitchell, only worse.

    Why bother with a fight against Spinks who can only stink up the joint and make mayweather look worse? Spinks won't hurt floyd nor make him dig down and fight.

    Looks like Floyd's looking below and above welter for an opponent while Mosley is the man.

    Adds more fuel to the "Floyd is a bitch" bonfire.

    Wow, Spinks looks completely shot these days after barely beating Latimore and people feel that's a better matchup than Marquez. I just don't get this board sometimes. Even if PBF is too big for JMM and beat the stuffing out of him because he was so much bigger, it would still be more entertaining than watching PBF fight a shot Spinks.

    You people care more about the weight than the opponent.
