Default Anyone excited for Bj Penn Edgar ?

I'm not at all. First fight was kinda boring to be honest with Edgar sticking and moving so much it hurt my eyes. Hopefully this time around Bj doesn't fuck around.

I am looking forward to the fight for one reason. I am curious to see how Penn changes his strategy. It's obvious Edgar can run around all night pot shotting and making it difficult.

I want Penn to get it to the ground. Even if it means letting Edgar get a takedown. His BJJ, even from his back, is his biggest advantage in this fight. Edgar is not nearly big enough to control Penn on the ground.

Either way it will fun to see what he does differently.

I too am not excited about this fight. I think Penn got robbed his last fight and i think Penn takes him out early in this fight.

Yep, I like to how fights play out. Just because I think it was a fluke doesn't mean I won't await what happens. I wouldn't get excited for most fights if that was the case.

nah, shit fight, the first one sucked and I see the second one going the same way just with BJ doing better than last time to get a non contreversial win

I'm not too excited for it, I'm looking forwarded to seeing if BJ fights like a guy who got robbed the first time. I hope he does and destroys Edgar. IMO the judging in the first fight was some serious bullshit.

I can't wait for this fight. Penn was awful last time out but still only lost a close decision. BJ lacked that killer aggression on the night - this time I predict a beat down similar to the Sanchez fight.

I like both of these guys, but it's not like the first fight makes the rematch a must-see. This would have been an outstanding free fight on Vs or Spike.

Did you feel Edgar actually deserved the decision?

Edgar didn't even win the fight IMO

I didn't think so either. It's like he got awarded for not getting beat up that bad. As far as I was concerned it was easy to score as Penn was landing the harder/cleaner shots.
