No. Manny's a superior physical specimen (and great fighter) but Duran forgot more boxing craft than Roach could ever spoon into Manny's massive noggin.

Duran was absolutely brilliant in the ring, like Hut said he's forgotten more boxing craft than Manny will ever know. Once Manny's speed erodes, he will be done as a fighter. Or once he runs into Floyd Mayweather Jr, whichever happens first.

Head to head, Duran wins. His fast, aggressive, mauling style with excellent defense and superb overall skill would do very well against Pacquiao.

Manny would answer allot of historical questions by beating Floyd. Until then, getting outboxed by Marquez while at his absolute best is a slight mark against him, I think (in terms of comparisons with guys like Duran & leonard).

I personally think he's BETTER as a welter as a lighter weight fighter since it really accentuates the gifts his style's based on; but part of that may be that he hasn't faced a TWO HANDED, crisp, accurate puncher of Marquez' quality since moving up. As shot as Mosley is I'll even be curious to see if Manny is able to neutralise Mosley's straight right effectively in the early rounds, since it's the first really good one he's encountered since JMM. He'll go down in my estimation if he doesn't because it'll prompt questions about his match making. (Diaz, Oscar, Hatton, Cotto, Tony, all heavily lead hand dominant fighters).

The problem is that Mosley isn't really a counterpuncher. The right hand counter is what Manny is really vulnerable to. This is why I'd bet my house on Floyd winning if they ever fought.

There are several very different styles. Hearns, Pryor, Whitaker, Ali, Lennox, just to name a few. Ones I don't like are the likes of Holyfield, Tyson etc
