Default Sonny Liston vs. George Foreman

Both faced Clay/Ali and both lost in different ways. Sad to say I was a teenager when I heard Liston-Clay fights on the static radio..we've come a long way baby in seeing/hearing boxing. I pick mob connected Liston. He was actually a fast puncher for his size as well as powerful and his boxing ability was above Foreman. I can see a mid to late round knockout here.(Both in their prime of course) GS

Terrific battle. Could end up resembling Foreman-Lyle, with both men getting off the deck.

I lean toward Liston...not by much, and it would be touch and go, but I do feel he was that little bit more skilled, accurate, and deft with his punches. They both have sturdy, battle-tested chins, yet neither could withstand the other being on top for long. Would be a barn burner.

    Liston in five, here.

    Foreman would have smashed Liston.

I tend to see Foreman winning this. Would be brutal though and who knows...it could even possibly go the distance.

Not a snowball's chance in hell of that happening.
