Martinez would fuck Floyd up. He has a perfect style against Floyd. For Floyd he is way too much risk for far too little reward.

Yes, in this case a few lbs is 8lbs {160 to 168}, which is LESS than the 7lbs Floyd needs to move up to fight at 154 against Martinez.

Bottom line is we want to see Floyd vs Martinez BEFORE we would want to see the Ward vs Martinez fight.

I never thought Floyd vs Cotto would open up such promising avenues. It seems now Floyd has taken Kiev, that he is obliged to go and take Moscow too. In the snow. And he doesn't like it.

Well it's good to confirm the tally on who's been damaged to various degrees, that particular exhibit you mention is called 'stewing on your own juices' ...they're broke and very much deserve to suffer this endless torment.

I quit concerntrating on boxing along time ago though really, actually, concerntrating on it, was a fatal mistake.

This is like Tito saying he was going to go up and win the HW title after he fought Hopkins. He was going to fight Hops, then Roy then win the HW Championship. Come on. How high in weight at at what disadvantage does Floyd need to give up for you to be happy? Should he fight Dawson next? Martinez is going to weigh 173 in any fight against Floyd. You should be asking what would happen if Cotto and Martinez met at 154.

This would be one of the most interesting fights in boxing to me.

Martinez should probably be the favourite, but it's a compelling match, and though Martinez is bigger, he's not that much bigger that you could dismiss Floyd's chances.

Similar to Donny Lalonde vs Sugar Ray.

Can he make the weight? If the money is right for sure.

martinez is much bigger (15lbs at least) than mayweather jr. taller, rangier, stronger, hits harder, more durable. he is also skilled, awkward and could KO mayweather with one shot.

    martinez via KO

This is crazy, the Floyd fans are picking Martinez and I am completely sure that Floyd would beat Martinez. I'm almost as sure as I've ever been about a fight.

you dont know nothin bout boxing. martinez will KO mayweather jr. of course he will never get that opportunity, but hypothetically.

martinez is the best fighter on the planet right now. and if mayweather jr or pacquiao think otherwise they can prove it in the ring

Martinez needs to do more than beat Paul Williams to make that claim. Who else did he beat? Some Euro contenders and he hasn't even looked good doing it.

And it was a close fight, I would give Pavlik a great chance to get revenge if they fought again. Without the cut he very well might have won.

Or Martinez can go up to 168 and prove it in the ring against Bute or Ward.

without the cut that pavlik got when martinez punched the shit out of his face?

martinez is the only guy who beat pavlik at middleweight.
