I wrote 'but apparently' which is clearly my assumption.

But look at the track of movies done by both companies:

Marvel: Spiderman (4 films), X-Men (5 films), Hulk (2 films), Iron Man (2 films and a third one in production...btw Ben Kingsley will play the Mandarin), Punisher (3 films), Blade (3 films), Daredevil (1 film and a revamp in the works), Fantastic Four (2 films), Captain America (2 films and sequel in production), Thor (1 film and sequel in preproduction), The Avengers (1 film and there will be many sequels), Elektra (1 film), Howard The Duck (1 film...thank God!)

DC: Superman (6 films counting the upcoming Man of Steel, plus several tv shows), Batman (7 films and one tv show), Wonder Woman (1 70's tv show and 1 recent unaired tv pilot), Aquaman (1 unaired tv pilot), The Flash (1 short-lived 90's tv series), Birds of Prey (short-lived tv show), Catwoman (1 film), Swamp Thing (2 films & 1 short-lived tv series), Steel (1 film),Watchmen (1 movie), Green Lantern (1 film)...can't remember anything else.

Did some of those films count as DC tho? DC is now heavily in the movie industry, but when superman was initially made and batman too, DC didnt have a movie company.

DC has a crapload of uninteresting characters. Wonder woman is cheesy, flash too. Aquaman is laughable.
A Haymaker is a punch. It is a wild swing with all the person's might to knock out the opponent. It is the most common punch in street fights. It is also used in boxing as a last resort. It packs enough power to break a man's jaw.

Fighting on the internet is like running in the special Olympics... Even if you win, you are still retarded.

I am glad to hear they will make a movie about this cool character. I just hope it is faithful to its source (the costume will probably be made extremely different).
There was a nice little 1978 tv movie about Dr. Strange which was supposed to be the pilot for a tv series. Even though it got good reviews and good ratings, eventually CBS decided to not make the show because of its occult theme might offend some people and scare children.

I am reading that Marvel supposedly wants Dr. Strange as part of the esemble of the next Avengers film! WTF? Dr. Strange is the leader of the Defenders not an Avenger.Oh, well, if they first make an introductory film that's fine with me. Actor Patrick Dempsey, who is a Marvel fan, is vocally begging for the role. I prefer another actor, like Liam Neeson, who can command wisdom and respect in a believable way.

I like Liam too but I think he's a bit too old now for that sort of role. Plus factor in future Avenge films 2 or 3 years away and he only stands to get really too old for the role.

Yeah, you can pretty much always tell when your superhero film bombed. Instead of going to the sequel which they built up for, they go straight for the reboot.
