Hatton has a speed advantage, though. Rios is the harder puncher.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hatton visits the canvas at some point, but I think he'd get back up and batter Rios into submission.

Prime Hatton was 'a limited brawler'? The fuck he was. Hatton has become very underrated nowadays, after having been overrated by about 07-8. He would have wasted Rios in a one-sided slaughter.

Its possible but I don't thin it can be ruled out. Ricky did have a tendency to come in WIDE OPEN at times. I think Rios could hurt him.

But ultimately, Hatton would end up beating him up bad. He had superior hand speed and strength.

Superior stamina too.
