    Nobody saw I saw the devil? Nobody saw The good the bad and the weird? Nobody Saw a Bittersweet Life? Nobody saw a Tale of Two sisters? Just cause you havent seen it, doesnt mean nobody. This movie are highly regarded. A tale of two sisters was so highly regarded that they remade here in Hollywood. And A bittersweet life is currently being remade.

    Until you just mentioned them, I'd never even heard of them. I guarantee you, if I went out into the street and asked a random thousand people if they'd heard of any of these movies, they'd look at me blankly.

    I think it's something to do with something called 'General Release' and not shown once a night in some pokey-little back-alley theater where movie-nerds congregate.

    Come on, both of you - don't be stupid: these movies go straight to DVD.
    Just like 'The Raid' (and that was shit as well)

    But the figures show that movies like this are for strictly for a minority audience who probably look for small-budget independent movies.

    It was released in only 15 screens in the US. That is basically like not being released.

    The figures dont show that at all. Oldboy only made 700k in the US.

    You are looking foolish right now. This guy is one of the top rising directors in the world. His films are critically acclaimed and it's because of his success he actually got this with Arnold.

    Just like The oldboy director is now making his first Hollywood movie.

    Yet he got a Hollywood gig because nobody has heard of him? The very reason he got this movie is because not only has many heard of his movies, they praise him for it. That is the funny part.

    Alright, I finally watched this film. It is okay, well made, but very predictable by-the-numbers-formulaic action film. Arnold is Arnold. I had a hard time buying him as the sherrif of that border redneck town. The action is intense and fast-paced. The best sequence was the escape of the narco. Seemed right out of a Die Hard movie. Worth watching one time.7/10

    I didn't pay much attention to the dialogue since this formulaic action films are not written with the intelligent crowd in mind. It has a few one liners that tried to be funny, but wasn't. IMO it was acceptable, but no Tarantinoesque. Arnold had more dialogue than he should be allow to.
