Most awesome Fan made Star Wars animated short video

The creator of this jewel was slapped with a cease and desist letter from Lucasfilm, so he had to take his short film down. Fortunately someone else took a clip from it and put it back on youtube. This is better than anything I have seen even in the prequels!

Smells like Disney if they took it down. If anything, Lucas had encouraged fan made stuff. That's why "Family Guy", "Robot Chicken" and that Legos thingy have had no problems making extended homages to "Star Wars".

Lucas was at least smart enough to know, it only added value to keep the franchise in the public eye, even if he wasn't getting paid much or anything at all directly because of it.

Disney has always protected it's properties, almost fanatically.

 

You might be right. And if they are smart they will give this guy a job in their animation department.
