Movie got good reviews so I watched it. That was my first mistake. This movie is crap. It's 1:50 in lenght with only around 10 minutes of action and everything else is BORING AS FUCK filler. For the first 1:40 it feels like you're on a ride along on A REALLY REALLY BORING episode of cops then you get 10 minutes of bad action. The two main characters are fucking annoying as hell, especially the little brown fat one who thinks he's George Lopez with his stupid Mexican jokes. Stay away from this God awful movie. 2/10
From the writer of Training Day, End of Watch is a riveting action thriller that puts audiences at the center of the chase like never before. I'll watch it.
Center of a chase ? What the fuck ? It's an hour and forty of driving around doing nothing and cracking stupid jokes with the last 10 minutes of a weak ass shoot out. Chase? LMAO
I almost didn't watch this because of Boss's review. But then I said to myself, "Wait, it's Boss". And I watched. I'm glad I did. I absolutely loved this movie. Solid acting. Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena turned in solid performances and were believable as young LAPD cops. It's almost like a ride-along with the LAPD. It was somewhat unpredictable in the sense that there was no real guessing what was going to happen next. That's no small feat for a "Police partners form a brother-like bond" movie. I would gladly recommend this movie.
You guys are fucking insane this movie is complete garbage. And Xplosive STFU what do you know about good movies you liked that thrash Immortals.
Neither movie is really anything special, but to me, 300 is one of more overrated movies of the last 15 years.
yeah we all got our opinions. i could see why you enjoyed immortals. I thought i was well done. But there is just something about 300 that i find slightly better. Maybe it's the pace.
At the end of the day, no matter what you think about 300 or Immortals, it doesn't alter the fact that End of Watch is a good movie.
I started this but after realizing it's one of those first person home movie films I stopped it immediately. I refuse to watch any of those type of films.
I liked it but i can see why someone would hate this movie because of the shaky pov camera gimmick. I give it 7/10
it's not the camera. it's the acting, the direction of the movie (or rather lack of) and just the fact that's it's fucking boring as fuck plus the mexican guy is super annoying . 2/10
