Yall know I know my movies better than panchypress. Watch this movie. Truly great movie. It's about genetic engineering in the future.
You know movies better and can't even spell the title correctly? :laugh11: Yup. It is a good old movie.
So, based on some fat, brain-dead Turk...what self-respecting human-being would actually go and see a movie based on the phrase: "Watch this movie its great". ::
What a bag of shit you are. I give my opinion. If you agree, you agree. If you don't, you don't. It is that simple.
Yes. That is a very strange film. Typical weirdness from early David Cronnenberg. Now his films are more mainstream. And regarding Jude Law: Have any of you seen also "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow"?
Gattaca is definitely a great film. Used to be one of my favorite films ever for a while and it still entertains today. Great soundtrack too that really captures the emotion of the film.
I recommend it as a curiosity. It is a well made little steam punk-like alternate history scifi film that was made on a string budget, but looks like it cost $200 million. It is not for everybody, though. Angela Jolie's character was small, but memorable. And how many times has Hollywood cast a long deceased legend (Sir Lawrence Olivier) and put him in the role of the villain? It is a throwback to the old serials from yesteryear like "Commando Cody: Sky Marshall of The Universe". <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/X5Wcg5m34fw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I completely forgot about this movie. At the time I was kind of interested but never got around to it. I must pick up a copy
