It was supposed to be a showdown between Jessica Chastain's Zero Dark Thirty and Arnold Scharzennegger's return to the action leading role The Last Stand. But it didn't precisely turned out that way. Jessica Chastain DID had the #1 movie at the box office, again, but it wasn't the Kathryn Bigelow political thriller. It was the horror flick Mama that capture the highest spot with $28 million. An impressive number for a January film and more so a horror film. But Chastain ALSO had the #2 spot with Zero Dark Thirty's $17.6 million. And the Arnold film? it crashed in the 10th spot with a lousy $6.3 million. This is a major blow to the former box office king and will definitely will have studios rethinking in offering the former California governor any major salary in the future. In the third spot and improving its numbers after the Oscar nominations, Silver Lining Playbook grossed $11.4 million which is exactly the kind of numbers its producers were expecting after the nominations. In the fouth place Gangster Squad added $9.1 million to its bank account, but still is not killing any records. Broken City was neck to neck with Gangster squad with $9.0 million. In the sixth spot A Haunted House laughed out loud $8.3 million. Django Unchained followed close with $8.2 million. Les Miserables droped to the 8th spot with $7.8 million. And The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey has begun to lose steam in the ninth spot with $6.4 million. These are estimates. The final actual numbers will be released on Tuesday afternoon.

80% of people who went to see Arnold's movie were over the age of 25.

I think he meant to say 'for an action hero'. Ten years out of the action movie screens as the star is too long.
