    Jayden Smith fuckin blows, and Will is annoying and insanely overrated and hasn't been in a good movie since 7 Pounds. So, I'm glad it bombed.

    Karate Kid was a steaming pile of shit!!!

    The original was 50x better.

    The new Karate Kid was a little too over the top, for starters. And Jayden is pretty annoying. I mean as he gets older we have to assume he'll become a better actor but he's not even close to that yet.

    I'll still watch After Earth, though. I'm not expecting much from it but I'll still see it.

    I don't know what happened to M.Night, but everything he's made since Signs has been horrific.

    Although, The Happening is a classic, for all the wrong reasons.

    I think the film suffered a little by being somewhat similar to the Tom Cruise film Oblivion which opened before that one. But honestly even while watching the trailer the very first time to me it looked like a movie you want to rent at Redbox and not spend your hard earned income on it.

    The movie gets a lot of shitty reviews on imdb. Many of them advise not to waste our times on the movie. Have you seen the movie? Will you be seeing it in the cinemas? Or will you stay away from the movie because of the shitty reviews?

    Devil was not that bad. In fact I thought it was a pretty good film up until the end when the devil actually showed up. He needs to stop trying to end every film with a twist. Even then I've seen a lot worse horror movies then that. Shaymalan is an average director. I guess the worst thing that happened to him was his first few films were rated so good. Basically after 6th Sense he was never able to live up to those lofty expectations.

    "Devil" was pretty damn good, even the end, but it wasn't his movie. He was just a producer on it.

    this movie isn't that bad :dunno:

    i was expecting to see a horrible piece of crap, but it was ok....just a normal below average dumb movie that is stupid, but entertaining...so i wouldnt tell someone to not watch it for free

    Yep. At the same time critics applaude mediocre crap like Oblivion and everyone acts like it's the 2nd coming of Avatar (not that I think Avatar was a great film). Oblivion MIGHT have been a better movie than After Earth, but it wasn't that much better.
